I have finally decided to call it a day with Punk4life. I have become disillusioned with the punk scene especially recently. I will always love the music and the bands that i've become friends with over the years. I will still attend gigs but I can't run a website with hardly any input from people other than myself. I would like to say thanks to my good friend OMD, Jillian Abbene and Justin Openshaw who have sent in photos and reviews which have added to the site. I am sad to end the site but I DO have a life other than punk.
The punk scene is very insular and it's hard to run a site which concentrates mainly on lesser known bands. People seem to be mainly interested in the well known bands from the distant past. Most of these bands have no punk ethics whatsoever and they are solely interested in themselves and how much money they can make. That is something I don't want to be associated with.
I have hosting until May next year but there will no longer be updates and in May next year Punk4life will vanish into the mists of time.
